Well I don’t know about you guys, but I made it one of my goals to find a boyfriend this year. My term of boyfriend, however does not mean finding someone, then holding onto that relationship for college, I mean finding an awesome friend (preferable good looking)...

The Unspoken Rules of College
After 18 years of living in your parents’ house, moving into your college dorm room can be a terrifying transition. Suddenly your room isn’t just yours anymore and you no longer know who used the shower before you (or what they did in there). And sometimes you don’t even have to be in college to live in a dorm. When I went to OLAB and YWI we stayed in dorms, (OLAB being the worst since it is...

It's Friday
Rebecca Black’s song is almost mocking me. I have a project in AP Bio, 2 in AP Lit, 1 in AP Calc, & another in AP Econ.
Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend….
thisismyexcitedface asked: will you change your settings to I can reply to your posts please? I wanted to say that I used to LOVE starburst bracelets. None of my teachers give out starbursts though. :(

Day 4
So, school has been…fine. Nothing more, nothing less. I like it, it’s fun, but like I said, it is a lot of work currently.
So the classes I enjoy are:
AP Bio-the teacher makes the class so lovely

AP Econ-LOVE IT just because I have a feeling
The classes that I’m waiting to see where it is going are:

I'm Sorry
I’m sorry for sucking so much.
I should be giving you guys cute little tips for the first few days/ weeks of school, but no, I have to STUDY for the TWO tests I have…on the third day of school…
I know.
But don’t worry I’ll stay up to come up with stuff later.
Anonymous asked: I'm sorry your first day of school sucked! It'll get better :)
I've been wanting to ask you,
What do you think the easiest AP class is? I have to take an AP course online and I get to choose. Which would you reccommend? I would prefer it not to be that academic such as "ap lit or ap calc" due to the fact that i'm taking it online.

Bleh...It's School Time
As the lazy days of summer slip away, it will soon be time to put away the beach chairs and corner lemonade stands and prepare for going back to school. Here are some tips to make the transition easier.
Adjust to the new routine
Ease into the school-year schedule. Getting back into the school routine can be a challenge for everyone in the family. To make the adjustment easier, start early.

To HBCU Or Not HBCU...
I live in Georgia and here it’s you either go to a school that’s majority black, (Valdosta) or all black (Morehouse, Spelman, Savannah State, etc) or you go to a school that is mostly white (UGA, GA Tech) because all the other black people go to one of the HBCUs. I didn’t mention GA State because strangely enough it’s the most diverse school in Georgia.
I found the...

First I would like to apologize to all of you for not being the best blogger around this time of year. I would have not thought at ALL that my stinky school would’ve screwed up not only my schedule, but EVERYBODY’S schedule like they did.
At my school we HAD block scheduling, even and odd, four classes a day and then all of a sudden the principal decides to combine semester and block....

Top 25 Most Athletics Colleges
Everyone thinks that their team or alma mater is the best. But what athletic program is truly the best? Is is Texas where they throw up horns all day? Or is it Notre Dame where the legacy is legendary? No one knows! But I decided to try and find out. The test tubes are bubbling here in the CampusSplash sports lab and here are the schools we have diagnosed as the best.
Here is how we...
skeletalelegance-deactivated201 asked: i'm writing my personal essay about my love of food and connecting it to how i tend to spread myself thin in terms of extracurricular activities. i'm trying to make it sort of funny, but is it just plain old stupid if i start using food-related phrases like saying that "my plate is full" and i often "bite off more than i can chew"? and of course, the one i used...

ninathefly-deactivated20120914 asked: Hi! I had a talk with my new school's guidance counsoler last week, to work out my new schedule (switching counties is a drag), and he mentioned that foreign language is not required, while in my old school district, it was required 2 consecutive years. My new counsoler told me that's because 2 years of foreign language is required for any 4 year university in the US. I was wondering if...

Fitness For All the Non-Jocks
I mentioned in my Freshman Year video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYto1VboRq4 I said join a sport, any sport. Well, some of us were not born with hand-eye coordination, or any coordination at all. But mostly, I think it comes down to competitiveness. Organized sports generally require some sort of intensity or focus. That certainly is not innate in everyone. Everyone tells us, as students, that...

1. Start early

Will You Care About Your Present in the Future?
There I sat, pen in hand. I was trying to mentally transform every minor action that had taken place in the last few years of my life into some sort of extra-curricular activity to put on a college application. But as I tried to justify the ‘Most Scholastic’ award that I won as a lacrosse player on the JV team in ninth grade as a display of my obvious athletic ability (I wish), I got a familiar...

Tips To Survive Sophomore Year
My friend was joking around and said that I neglect the sophomore class of high schoolers. Sophomore year is “awkward”. Neutral, almost. You’re not a freshman, but still underclass, so it’s like sophomore are the middle child. The red headed middle child. But sophomore year was the best high school year of my life, so here are ten tips to make it the best year of yours.

my-mockupblog asked: When I asked earlier about the IB, and then described my current school curriculum I didn't mean the AP, I come from a country where it is less common, and quite hard to find, whilst the IB on the other hand, is practically everywhere. So, I am asking you again, with my current program and basic knowledge of things, what do you think I would need to keep myself balanced in the IB?
llljbbydwbheimnie asked: Hey! First of all, I love your blog. Second, do you think you could do a video about your freshman year and how you kept it together (or not) and things you wish you did or didn't do that year? I'm going into 9th grade (Class of 2015 represent!) on the 22nd, so any tips would be fantastic! (: Like organization, staying on top of schoolwork, not going crazy? I watched your video and...
